SKIES HAVE BEEN CLEAR ACROSS THE STATE THROUGHOUT THE EARLY
MORNING HOURS...WITH LIGHT AND VARIABLE WINDS. EARLY MORNING
TEMPERATURES RANGE FROM THE MID 30S TO THE MID TO UPPER 40S ACROSS
IOWA.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL DOMINATE THE REGION TODAY...WITH ANOTHER MILD
DAY EXPECTED WITH HIGHS IN THE UPPER 60S TO MID 70S ACROSS THE
STATE. SOME HIGH CLOUDS MAY FILTER INTO THE EASTERN PORTIONS OF
IOWA TODAY. A FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL DROP THROUGH THE STATE FRIDAY
AND STALL OUT ACROSS SOUTHERN IOWA. THIS WILL BRING THE RETURN OF
PRECIPITATION CHANCES TO PORTIONS OF THE STATE FOR FRIDAY INTO THE
WEEKEND. A MORE ACTIVE PATTERN SETS UP INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK...WITH
CONTINUED CHANCES FOR RAINFALL. A WARMING TREND IS EXPECTED INTO
THE WEEKEND WITH 80S ACROSS MUCH OF IOWA SUNDAY...THEN COOLER
TEMPS AGAIN EARLY NEXT WEEK.
