SKIES ACROSS IOWA WERE CLOUDY EARLY THURSDAY MORNING. CLOUDS
HELPED TO KEEP EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES WARMER...WITH READINGS
IN THE 40S AND 50S. WINDS WERE VARIABLE...GENERALLY FROM THE EAST
TO SOUTHEAST LESS AROUND 5 MPH.

CONDITIONS WILL REMAIN WARM THROUGH THE END OF THE WORK WEEK
ACROSS THE REGION WITH HIGHS IN THE 70S THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.
SATURDAY WILL SEE SLIGHTLY COOLER TEMPERATURES...WITH HIGHS IN
THE 60S AND 70S AND OVERNIGHT LOWS IN THE 40S AND 50S.

PRECIPITATION CHANCES WILL RETURN TO THE WEST THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING AND WILL PERSIST OVERNIGHT. A LARGE UPPER LEVEL LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BEGIN TO INFLUENCE THE AREA FRIDAY WITH
PRECIPITATION CHANCES BECOMING MORE WIDESPREAD. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE AREA THROUGHOUT THE
WEEKEND.

AS THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM BEGINS TO RETREAT ANOTHER WEATHER
SYSTEM WILL BRING COOLER TEMPERATURES TO THE REGION FOR THE
BEGINNING OF NEXT WORK WEEK. HIGH TEMPERATURES FOR THE BEGINNING
OF THE WEEK WILL BE IN THE 50S AND 60S WITH OVERNIGHT LOWS IN THE
30S AND LOW 40S.
