SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVED THROUGH PORTIONS OF
THE STATE OVERNIGHT...PRODUCING SOME GUSTY WINDS AND PEA SIZE
HAIL. SKIES WERE CLOUDY THROUGHOUT THE OVERNIGHT HOURS...WITH THE
MAJORITY OF THE WINS OUT OF THE SOUTH AT AROUND 10 TO 20 MPH.
EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE MID 50S TO THE MID 60S
ACROSS IOWA.

SOME SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MAY LINGER ACROSS PORTIONS OF IOWA
INTO THE MORNING HOURS...WITH GREATER CHANCES COMING LATE THIS
AFTERNOON INTO THE EVENING AS A COLD FRONT DROPS SOUTH THROUGH THE
STATE. THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL STALL ACROSS THE STATE INTO
MONDAY...WITH LINGERING PRECIPITATION CHANCES AS WELL. WARM AND
HUMID AIR WILL BE IN PLACE TODAY WITH CONDITIONS FEELING MORE
SUMMERY...HOWEVER COOLER TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED INTO MONDAY
AS COOLER AIR MOVES IN BEHIND THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY TONIGHT INTO
MONDAY. THE COOL DOWN WILL BE BRIEF AS WARMER TEMPERATURES ARE
THEN EXPECTED INTO MID WEEK...WITH CONTINUES CHANCES FOR
PRECIPITATION.
