A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO SINK SOUTH ACROSS CENTRAL IOWA
THIS EVENING. BEHIND THE FRONT THE WIND WILL SWITCH TO THE NORTH OR
NORTHEAST AND INCREASE TO 20 TO 35 MPH. WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH ARE ALSO
POSSIBLE. IN ADDITION TO THE STRONG NON-CONVECTIVE WIND GUSTS...STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO ACCOMPANY THE FRONT. SOME OF THESE STORMS WILL
BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING BRIEF HEAVY RAIN...LARGE HAIL TO THE SIZE OF
QUARTERS OR LARGER AND WIND GUSTS TO 60 MPH.
