WEATHER SUMMARY FOR THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS

VARIABLY CLOUDY SKIES WERE OBSERVED ACROSS THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS
TODAY. A FEW SHOWERS WERE OBSERVED OVER SAINT CROIX AND SAINT
THOMAS WITH MINIMAL ACCUMULATIONS. WINDS WERE MAINLY FROM THE
SOUTH SOUTHEAST AND TEMPERATURES IN THE MID TO UPPER 80S.

A LOW LEVEL SOUTHEAST FLOW WILL MAINTAIN WARM TEMPERATURES INTO
EARLY NEXT WEEK WITH THE RISK OF A FEW SHOWERS. OTHERWISE...THE
MID TO UPPER LEVEL RIDGE WILL MAINTAIN A DRY PATTERN FOR MUCH OF
NEXT WEEK WITH DAILY MAXIMUM TEMPERATURES IN THE LOW 90S ACROSS
THE LOWER ELEVATIONS.

ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS...LONG PERIOD NORTH NORTHEAST SWELLS
WILL GRADUALLY SUBSIDE THROUGH THE WEEKEND BUT STILL POSE A
MODERATE TO HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ACROSS THE ATLANTIC
BEACHES.
