ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 9 PM
EDT THIS EVENING.

* LOCATIONS...WESTERN NEW YORK

* TIMING...EARLY THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE THIS EVENING.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.

* IMPACTS...WINDS OF THIS MAGNITUDE MAY BRING DOWN A FEW LARGE
  BRANCHES AND CAUSE ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES. THESE WINDS WILL ALSO
  MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. IN
  ADDITION...UNSECURED ITEMS OUTDOORS...SUCH AS TRASHCANS...MAY BE
  BLOWN OVER.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN SUSTAINED WINDS ARE FORECAST TO BE
31 TO 39 MPH OR GUSTS WILL RANGE BETWEEN 46 AND 57 MPH. WINDS OF
THESE MAGNITUDES MAY CAUSE MINOR PROPERTY DAMAGE WITHOUT EXTRA
PRECAUTIONS. MOTORISTS IN HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES SHOULD USE
CAUTION UNTIL THE WINDS SUBSIDE. STAY TUNED TO NOAA WEATHER RADIO
