INCH LOW PRESSURE MOVING INTO MINNESOTA ON SUNDAY MORNING WILL MERGE
WITH ANOTHER 29.5 INCH LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM LIFTING NORTHEAST INTO THE
LOWER GREAT LAKES...RESULTING IN A DEEPER 29.2 INCH LOW PRESSURE NEAR
THE UPPER GREAT LAKES ON MONDAY EVENING. ALTHOUGH THIS LOW WILL SHIFT
NORTHEAST TO NEAR JAMES BAY ON TUESDAY...A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE
AVERAGING 29.5 INCHES ON ITS SOUTHWEST FLANK WILL EXTEND BACK INTO
THE UPPER GREAT LAKES. THESE FEATURES WILL REMAIN NEARLY STATIONARY
BUT WEAKEN SLOWLY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...TO THE EAST OF A 30.1 INCH HIGH
PRESSURE RIDGE BUILDING OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS. THE LOW WILL
FINALLY SHIFT EAST ON THURSDAY...ALLOWING A 30.0 RIDGE TO MOVE INTO
WESTERN LAKE SUPERIOR.
