A PLEASANT DAY ACROSS EASTERN IOWA...NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...AND FAR
NORTHEAST MISSOURI AS HIGH PRESSURE SAT ACROSS THE CENTRAL
MISSOURI RIVER VALLEY. NORTHEAST WINDS OF 10 TO 15 MPH HELPED DRAW
COOLER AIR INTO THE REGION THROUGH THE DAY ON THURSDAY. HIGH
TEMPERATURES ON THURSDAY RANGED FROM 60 DEGREES AT FREEPORT TO 70
DEGREES AT VINTON.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL SHIFT EASTWARD INTO CENTRAL ILLINOIS THURSDAY
NIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING. EXPECT CLEAR SKIES OVERNIGHT WITH LIGHT
WINDS. THIS WILL ALLOW TEMPERATURES TO DROP OFF QUICKLY OVERNIGHT.
LOW TEMPERATURES ON FRIDAY MORNING WILL RANGE FROM 35 DEGREES AT
FREEPORT TO 43 DEGREES AT FORT MADISON.
