HIGH PRESSURE REMAINED OVER THE REGION. THURSDAY MORNING LOW
TEMPERATURES...RANGED FROM 36 DEGREES AT INDEPENDENCE AND
MONTICELLO AIRPORTS TO 46 DEGREES AT THE KEOKUK AIRPORT. ANOTHER
PLEASANT SPRING DAY IS EXPECTED THURSDAY...WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES
RANGING FROM 60 DEGREES AT FREEPORT ILLINOIS TO 68 DEGREES AT
KEOKUK IOWA AND MEMPHIS MISSOURI.

FOR TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY MORNING...A SURFACE RIDGE AXIS WILL SHIFT
OVERHEAD AND WILL LEAD TO CLEAR SKIES AND LIGHT WINDS. THESE
NEARLY IDEAL CONDITIONS FOR RADIATIONAL COOLING SUPPORTS LOW
TEMPERATURES FROM THE MID TO UPPER 30S OVER NORTHWEST ILLINOIS
INTO THE EASTERN IOWA RIVER VALLEYS...TO THE LOWER 40S OVER
SOUTHEAST IOWA AND NORTHEAST MISSOURI. FRIDAY WILL START OFF
SUNNY THEN WILL BECOME MOSTLY CLOUDY AS THE NEXT SYSTEM MOVES INTO
THE AREA. HIGHS FIRDAY WILL BE IN THE UPPER 60S TO LOW 70S.
