HIGH PRESSURE SLID INTO KENTUCKY AS AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE
FILLED IN BEHIND INTO THE PLAINS. THERE WAS A MIX OF CLOUDS AND
SUNSHINE SATURDAY...WITH SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS ACROSS SOUTH
CENTRAL IOWA BY LATE AFTERNOON. HIGHS SATURDAY RANGED FROM
79 DEGREES AT THE MOLINE AND STERLING AIRPORTS TO 72 DEGREES AT
KEOKUK AND FAIRFIELD AIRPORTS.

THE SHOWERS ACROSS SOUTH CENTRAL IOWA WILL MOVE INTO SOUTHEAST
IOWA...WESTERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHEAST MISSOURI DURING THE EARLY
EVENING HOURS. SHOWERS CHANCES AND CLOUDS WILL DIMINISH BY LATE
EVENING. FOR OVERNIGHT SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY MORNING...EXPECT
PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES WITH LOWS IN THE LOW TO UPPER 50S.
FOR THE REST OF SUNDAY...ANOTHER SYSTEM WILL BEGIN MOVING INTO
NORTHEAST AND NORTH CENTRAL IOWA BY MID AFTERNOON. SO UNTIL
THEN...FOR ALMOST ALL AREAS...FOR MOST OF THE DAY...DRY WEATHER
WILL PREVAIL. WE SHOULD HAVE SUFFICIENT SUNSHINE TO PUSH
TEMPERATURES INTO THE LOW 80S. BY LATE AFTERNOON...SOME GUSTY
SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL LEAD TO THE RAIN EVENT SUNDAY NIGHT. BY
SUNDAY NIGHT...A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER SOUTHERN ONTARIO WILL
DRAG A WEAKENING COLD FRONT INTO EAST IOWA AND WESTERN ILLINOIS...
AND BRING A CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.
