The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Washita River near Cheyenne.

* until late tonight...or until the warning is cancelled.

* At  5:00 AM Friday the stage was 13.1 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 13.5 feet.

* Forecast...The Washita River will rise above flood stage early
  Friday morning and crest near 14.2 feet early Friday afternoon. The
  Washita River will fall below flood stage Friday evening.

* Impact...At 14 feet...Flooding of agricultural lands along the
  Washita River occurs in Roger Mills and western Custer counties
  above the headwaters of Foss Lake.
