FOR THE EXCEPTION OF FAR SOUTHWEST MISSOURI...NEARLY ALL LOCATIONS
ACROSS THE REGION WILL EXPERIENCE AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF DRY
WEATHER.  THIS IS UNUSUAL FOR LATE APRIL AND EARLY MAY.

TEMPERATURES WILL BE UNSEASONABLY COOL WITH HIGHS IN THE 60S
ON A DAILY BASIS THROUGH AT LEAST WEDNESDAY.  TEMPERATURES BEGIN
TO WARM UP BY LATE IN THE WEEK WITH READINGS WELL INTO THE 70S
FOR NEXT WEEKEND.
