.DISCUSSION...THERE IS A WEAK SHORTWAVE RIDGE OVER SOUTHERN UTAH
THIS MORNING WHICH SHOULD PREVENT ANY CONVECTION FROM DEVELOPING
THIS MORNING BUT AN APPROACHING UPSTREAM TROUGH OVER NORTH CENTRAL
NEVADA THIS MORNING WILL BEGIN TO DESTABILIZE THE AIR MASS THIS
AFTERNOON AS IT MOVE INTO WESTERN UTAH. THIS FIRST TROUGH WILL
MOVE INTO THE BURN AREA THIS EVENING AND LIKELY TO STALL OVER YOUR
AREA BETWEEN MIDNIGHT AND 0600 SATURDAY. PRECIP AMOUNTS OF 0.30 TO
0.50 OF AN INCH ARE FORECAST THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING WITH ANOTHER
0.15 TO 0.40 OF AN INCH SATURDAY INTO SUNDAY WITH THE MAIN TROUGH.
SNOW LEVELS WILL LOWER TO 5500 -6500 FT BY SUNDAY MORNING.

NORTH WINDS OF 15-25 MPH ON EXPOSED RIDGES WILL OCCUR SUNDAY BUT
IN THE BOWL THAT THE FIRE IS IN THE WINDS WILL BE SQUIRRELY.

A RIDGE MOVES IN BEGINNING SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND WILL PREVAIL
THROUGH MIDWEEK WITH A POSSIBLE BREAK DOWN OF THE RIDGE THURSDAY
OR FRIDAY. TEMPERATURES WILL REACH THEIR WARMEST LEVELS OF THE
SEASON WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY.
