VARIABLE CLOUDY SKIES PREVAILED ACROSS THE QUAD STATE AREA TODAY,
WITH SPRINKLES AND LIGHT RAIN ENDING ACROSS THE KENTUCKY PENNYRILE
AREA BY MID MORNING TODAY. MOST OF THE HEAVIER RAIN FROM LAST
NIGHT OCCURRED ACROSS THE NORTHERN PENNYRILE AREA OF KENTUCKY AS
WELL AS SOUTHWEST INDIANA. THE EVANSVILLE AREA RECEIVED JUST UNDER
TWO INCHES OVER THE PAST 24 HOURS. MOST OTHER AREAS RECEIVED
BETWEEN ONE QUARTER AND ONE HALF INCH. MORNING LOWS WERE IN THE
MID TO UPPER 50S WITH MID AFTERNOON HIGHS MID 50S NORTH TO MID 60S
SOUTH.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL GRADUALLY BUILD INTO THE AREA OVERNIGHT. DRIER
AND COOLER AIR WILL OVERTAKE THE THE REGION USHERING IN COOLER
WEATHER FOR A FEW DAYS, EXPECT 60S FOR HIGHS AND 40S FOR LOWS
THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK. RAIN CHANCES WILL RETURN IN
TYPICAL SPRING LIKE FASHION...EVERY COUPLE OF DAYS OR SO THROUGH
THE WEEK.
