MINDANAO ACROSS 5N130E TO A BROAD CIRCULATION CENTERED SOUTHEAST OF
YAP NEAR 8N141E...THEN TURNS SOUTHEASTWARD TO END AT EQ151E.
DIVERGENT UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ARE ENHANCING SCATTERED HEAVY SHOWERS
AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS NEAR THESE FEATURES OVER YAP WATERS
WITHIN 50 MILES OF 8N139E AND ALSO SOUTHWEST OF CHUUK WITHIN 75
MILES OF A LINE FROM 5N143E TO 5N148E TO 3N152E. ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS ARE SEEN NEAR KOROR WITHIN 40 MILES OF A LINE FROM
7N132E TO 7N136E. MODEST CONVERGING SURFACE WINDS EAST OF THE TROUGH
ARE TRIGGERING ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS NEAR CHUUK BETWEEN 7N AND 11N
FROM 150E TO 154E.

A SURFACE TROUGH CURVES SOUTHEASTWARD FROM NEAR ENEWETAK ATOLL AT
13N162E TO A CIRCULATION SOUTH OF MAJURO NEAR 4N172E...THEN TURNS
NORTHEASTWARD TO END AT 10N180. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS ARE EVIDENT NEAR THE TROUGH OVER KWAJALEIN AND MAJURO
BUT JUST EAST OF POHNPEI AND NORTH OF KOSRAE WITHIN 80 MILES OF A
LINE FROM 8N159E TO 9N165E TO 8N169E TO 7N175E. SIMILAR CONDITIONS
ARE ALSO OCCURRING NEAR THE CIRCULATION OVER BUTARITARI AND TARAWA
ATOLLS SOUTH OF A LINE FROM 6N166E TO 4N180.

A SHEAR LINE RUNS EAST-NORTHEASTWARD FROM NORTHWEST OF ENEWETAK
ATOLL AT 14N160E TO BEYOND 180 AT 17N. SCATTERED SHOWERS ARE PRESENT
ALONG AND UP TO 180 MILES NORTH OF THIS BOUNDARY.
