FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NE KANSAS/NW MISSOURI
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE KANSAS CITY/PLEASANT HILL MO
354 AM CDT TUE MAR 31 2015

.DISCUSSION...
HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING OVER THE AREA WILL RESULT IN MUCH WEAKER 20
FOOT WINDS TODAY. DESPITE DRY 10-HR FUELS AND LOW HUMIDITY LEVELS
TODAY...WEAKER WINDS SHOULD PREVENT WIDESPREAD FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS
FROM DEVELOPING. ON WEDNESDAY...20 FOOT WINDS AND HUMIDITY VALUES WILL
INCREASE AS MOISTURE WORKS NORTH FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO FOLLOWING
THE PASSAGE OF A WARM FRONT. DESPITE INCREASING WINDS...OVERALL
CONCERNS FOR CONDITIONS CONDUCIVE TO RAPID FIRE GROWTH REMAIN LOW AT
THIS TIME. RAIN CHANCES WILL INCREASE WEDNESDAY NIGHT WILL IMPROVE
SURFACE FUEL MOISTURE CONTENT.
