.TONIGHT THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT...A DEVELOPING SURFACE TROUGH TO THE SOUTH
WILL ENHANCE CLOUDS AND SCATTERED SHOWERS TO MOVE ACROSS TUTUILA EASTWARD
DURING MONDAY. THE LATEST GFS MODEL RESOLUTION SHOWS MODERATE TO FRESH
TRADE-WINDS DURING TONIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING. LOCAL WIND SPEED WILL
DIMINISH TO NEAR 10 TO 15 KT SUNDAY AFTERNOON BEFORE BECOMING LIGHT
AND VARIABLE UP TO 10 KT SUNDAY NIGHT.

.LONG TERM...
.TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...A SURFACE TROUGH FROM THE SOUTHWEST OF
THE REGION WILL ADVANCE TOWARD THE SAMOAN ISLANDS DURING TUESDAY
NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY. FOR NOW...WILL MONITOR THIS SITUATION BEFORE
UPDATING THE PREV FCST. THEREFORE...ANTICIPATE MINIMAL SHOWERS
EXCEPT FOR SCATTERED LIGHT SHOWERS DURING THE AFTERNOONS ACROSS THE
FCST ZONES.

.MARINE...LARGE TRADE-WIND GENERATED SEAS AND SWELLS WILL CONTINUE
TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS SWELLS AND SURFS UP TO 10 TO 12 FEET PEAKING
TO NEAR 14 FEET TONIGHT. SEAS WILL GRADUALLY SUBSIDE DURING SUNDAY
NIGHT TO NEAR 7 TO 8 FEET. HOWEVER...ISSUANCE OF ADVISORIES FOR
SMALL CRAFTS AND HIGH SURFS ARE MANDATORY TO REFLECT THE EXISTING
MARINE WEATHER.
