FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR WEST VIRGINIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHARLESTON WV
441 PM EDT WED MAY 6 2015

.DISCUSSION...
OUR PREVIEW OF SUMMER CONTINUES...BUT WITHOUT THOSE HIGHER...MUGGY
DEW POINTS.

A VERY SLUGGISH...WEAK WIND FLOW EXISTS.

ANY SLOW MOVING SHOWER OR STORM THAT DEVELOPS DURING THE HEAT OF THE
AFTERNOON WILL LINGER INTO THE EVENING. THE MOUNTAIN COUNTIES HAVE
THE HIGHER CHANCES OF THOSE SHOWERS. IF WE GET ANY RAIN...SOME FOG
COULD FORM LATE TONIGHT...IN THOSE LOCATIONS.

THIS PATTERN...SHOULD CONTINUE FOR THE REST OF THIS WORK AND SCHOOL
WEEK. SOME OF THE USUAL HOT SPOTS ALONG THE WESTERN RIVER VALLEYS
WILL BE FLIRTING WITH 90 DEGREES.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE THROUGH AT LEAST EARLY NEXT
WEEK...WHEN A COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP THROUGH THE REGION...PROVIDING A
RELIEF FROM THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY BY MID WEEK NEXT WEEK.
