HYDROMETEOROLOGICAL DISCUSSION
MIDDLE ATLANTIC RIVER FORECAST CENTER
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE STATE COLLEGE PA
 945 AM EDT MON APR 27 2015

A few light rain showers moved across parts of southern
Virginia over the past 24 hours. Precipitation amounts were
under a tenth /0.10/ inch which had no effect on river or
stream levels.

Except for and isolated rain shower or sprinkles across
parts of NY, PA and western MD, expect mostly dry weather
through Tuesday. An upper level low will creep slowly
eastward from the lower Mississippi river valley and combine
with energy dropping southward across the great lakes.
Showers are forecasted on Day-3 (12Z Wed to 12Z Thurs)
across our far southern river basins (James & Appomattox
river basins). Day-3 QPF is expected to be under two
tenths /0.20/ of an inch across southern VA with no
precipitation expected elsewhere.

Expect on minor changes in river levels over the next 48
to 72 hours. All MARFC river forecasts will be issued by
10am.
