THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  ELEVATED HAIL RISK.
  LIMITED THUNDERSTORM WIND DAMAGE RISK.
  SIGNIFICANT LIGHTNING RISK.

DISCUSSION...

NON SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER WESTERN AND EASTERN
SECTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA THIS MORNING. MARGINALLY SEVERE
STORMS WILL THEN REDEVELOP OVER FAR SOUTHEAST KANSAS THIS
AFTERNOON AND MOVE EASTWARD ACROSS SOUTHERN MISSOURI INTO THIS EVENING.

THERE IS AN ELEVATED THREAT FOR THESE STORMS TO PRODUCE HAIL TO
THE SIZE OF QUARTERS. A FEW GUSTS TO AROUND 60 MPH WILL ALSO BE
POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

THERE WILL BE ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM THAT WILL PRODUCE WIDESPREAD
THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED LATER TODAY INTO THIS EVENING FOR AREAS
SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 44.
