THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL
GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL TRACK ACROSS THE GULF OF MEXICO TODAY AND
ACROSS THE NORTHERN FLORIDA PENINSULA TONIGHT. THIS WILL HELP TO
SPREAD PRECIPITATION INTO NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA. THERE IS A
SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS AFTER 3PM FOR CENTRAL GEORGIA...AND
AFTER 9PM OVER NORTH GEORGIA...HOWEVER THE MOST LIKELY LOCATION FOR
THUNDERSTORMS IS ACROSS CENTRAL GEORGIA. INSTABILITY IS VERY LIMITED
WITH THIS SYSTEM AND STRONG OR SEVERE STORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED. THE
PRIMARY HAZARD WILL BE OCCASIONAL TO FREQUENT LIGHTNING.

RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED TO BE BETWEEN A HALF AND ONE INCH.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTH
GEORGIA THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING AS A FAST MOVING UPPER LEVEL
LOW SWEEPS ACROSS THE SOUTHERN APPALACHIANS. ALTHOUGH INSTABILITY IS
EXPECTED TO BE LIMITED...MODERATE MID-LEVEL LAPSE RATES AND COLD AIR
ALOFT WILL MEAN THAT SMALL HAIL WILL POSSIBLE WITH ANY THUNDERSTORMS
THAT DEVELOP. GUSTY WINDS AND OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING WILL ALSO
ACCOMPANY ANY THUNDERSTORMS THAT DEVELOP THURSDAY.

OTHERWISE...NO HAZARDOUS IS EXPECTED THROUGH THE PERIOD.
