THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EASTERN NORTH
DAKOTA...WEST CENTRAL AND NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A RED FLAG WARNING HAS BEEN ISSUED FOR PARTS OF NORTHWEST
MINNESOTA GENERALLY NORTH OF HIGHWAY 2 AND FOR NEIGHBORING
COUNTIES OF NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA FOR THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY
EVENING. RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL FALL TO AROUND 15 TO 20 PERCENT
THIS AFTERNOON FOR MOST OF THE FORECAST AREA. WINDS WILL INCREASE
TO 15 TO 20 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS IN THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE RED
RIVER VALLEY THIS AFTERNOON. THE COMBINATION OF LOW HUMIDITIES AND
WINDS WILL MAKE FOR RED FLAG CONDITIONS THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY
EVENING.
