SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP LATE THIS
AFTERNOON ACROSS THE LAKE OKEECHOBEE REGION AND MOVE NORTHEAST AT
10 MPH. THE STRONGEST STORMS WILL PRODUCE OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING
STRIKES AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL ALONG WITH GUSTY WINDS TO 35 MPH.
THE GREATEST CONCENTRATION OF ACTIVITY WILL TEND TO FAVOR THE
AREAS ON THE SOUTH AND EAST SHORE OF LAKE OKEECHOBEE INTO NORTHERN
PALM BEACH COUNTY. SOME OF THE STORMS COULD ALSO MOVE INTO THE
NEAR SHORE ATLANTIC WATERS. THE STORMS COULD THEN PERSIST WELL
INTO THE EVENING HOURS BEFORE DIMINISHING.
