SOUTHERLY FLOW WILL STRENGTHEN TODAY ALONG WITH LINGERING LOWER
AFTERNOON HUMIDITY...WITH THE STRONGEST COMBINATION OF THE TWO
EXPECTED IN AREAS FROM LOWER BRULE TO THE MID JAMES VALLEY FOR A
VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER. HIGH FIRE DANGER WILL COVER MUCH OF THE
REMAINDER OF THE AREA. ON SUNDAY...WINDS BEHIND A FRONTAL ZONE
WILL BE STRONG AND GUSTY FROM A NORTHERLY DIRECTION IN THE
AFTERNOON ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA...WITH AFTERNOON
HUMIDITY 25 TO 35 PERCENT AGAIN RESULTING IN A VERY HIGH FIRE
DANGER. PROSPECT FOR A WETTING AFTERNOON RAIN WILL INCREASE SUNDAY
HEADING TOWARD AREAS ALONG AND EAST OF STATE HIGHWAY 60.
