...SYNOPSIS...
ACROSS THE NORTHERN UNITED STATES...BROADLY-ZONAL MID-LEVEL FLOW
WILL CONTINUE TO PERSIST. ACROSS THE SOUTH...A LOW-AMPLITUDE RIDGE
WILL SHIFT EAST /TOWARD THE SOUTHEAST/ AND A TROUGH WILL BEGIN TO
DEVELOP ACROSS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA. AT THE SURFACE...A COLD FRONT
WILL CONTINUE TO PUSH SOUTH ACROSS THE CENTRAL PLAINS.

...NORTHERN PLAINS...
STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS IN THE WAKE OF THE AFOREMENTIONED FRONT WILL
USHER IN A DRY AIRMASS ACROSS THE NORTHERN PLAINS. DESPITE THE
NORTHERLY WINDS...THE DRY AIRMASS WILL ALLOW FOR A QUICK WARM UP
DURING THE AFTERNOON...WITH TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM THE MID-60S
ACROSS NORTHERN NORTH DAKOTA TO NEAR 80F ACROSS SOUTHEAST SOUTH
DAKOTA. THE COOLER TEMPERATURES WILL HELP TO OFFSET THE DRIER
AIRMASS...KEEPING MINIMUM RELATIVE-HUMIDITY VALUES IN THE 20-30
PERCENT RANGE...SLIGHTLY ABOVE CRITICAL CRITERIA. HOWEVER...GIVEN
THE STRENGTH OF THE WINDS AND DRY FUELS...ELEVATED-TO-LOCALLY
