SPOT FORECAST FOR LP IHC FIELD EXERCISES
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SALT LAKE CITY UT
505 PM MDT MON MAY 4 2015

.DISCUSSION...A MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS WILL REMAIN IN PLACE
OVER UTAH WHICH WILL CONTINUE TO DRIVE DIURNAL CONVECTION OVER
THE NEXT FEW DAYS. CAN NOT RULE OUT ISOLATED SHOWERS LINGERING
OVERNIGHT INTO TOMORROW MORNING...BUT THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY
HOLD OFF UNTIL 1200-1300. SAME THING FOR WEDNESDAY...ALTHOUGH
THERE COULD BE A BIT MORE RAIN SHOWER ACTIVITY FOR TUESDAY NIGHT
INTO WEDNESDAY MORNING. THIS MOIST AIRMASS WILL CAUSE RELATIVE
HUMIDITY TO TREND HIGHER EACH DAY WHILE MAX TEMPERATURES SHOULD
TREND COOLER. THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD BE ABLE TO PRODUCE
WETTING RAINS. WINDS OUTSIDE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL REMAIN TERRAIN-
DRIVEN...ALTHOUGH GUSTY AND ERRATIC OUTFLOW WINDS ARE POSSIBLE
FROM NEARBY THUNDERSTORMS.
