THIS OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS AS WELL AS
MUCH OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM.
RISK...LIMITED.
AREA...GENERALLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 40.
ONSET...AFTER MIDNIGHT.

HEAVY RAIN.
RISK...LIMITED.
AREA...SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA.
ONSET...AFTER MIDNIGHT.

DISCUSSION...
THE TIMING FOR ANY SEVERE WEATHER HAS NOW SHIFTED UNTIL AFTER
MIDNIGHT FOR AREAS SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 40. STORMS ONGOING
ACROSS WESTERN OKLAHOMA AND NORTH TEXAS WILL EXPAND
NORTHWARD OVERNIGHT. SUFFICIENT INSTABILITY AND STRONG
WINDS ALOFT WILL SUPPORT THE POTENTIAL FOR BOTH LARGE
HAIL AND LOCALLY DAMAGING WINDS THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT
HOURS. ALSO...LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE ACROSS
SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA TONIGHT CONTINUING INTO MONDAY.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
LOCAL SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.
MONDAY...THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL...HEAVY RAIN POTENTIAL.
TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...NO HAZARDS.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY TO BE ONGOING MONDAY...THOUGH
THE POTENTIAL FOR SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE DECREASING AS THE
WIDESPREAD RAINFALL WILL ACT TO LIMIT INSTABILITY ACROSS THE
REGION. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL REMAIN A CONCERN...ESPECIALLY
ACROSS FAR SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA WHERE RECENT HEAVY RAINS HAVE
FALLEN. AFTER MONDAY...DRY AND MILD CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL
FOR MUCH OF THE UPCOMING WEEK.
