...ENHANCED FIRE DANGER THIS AFTERNOON...

GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS BETWEEN 10 AND 25 MILES AN HOUR COMBINED
WITH LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY WILL RESULT IN AN ELEVATED RISK FOR
WILD FIRES THIS AFTERNOON. WOODED AREAS WITH PATCHES OF DRY GROUND
LITTER AND ANY FIELDS THAT HAVE NOT BECOME COMPLETELY GREEN WILL
BE AT GREATEST RISK. PEOPLE ARE ADVISED TO AVOID OPEN BURNING
TODAY AND TO CONTACT FIRE OFFICIALS IF A WILDFIRE OCCURS.
