REGION...WITH PLENTY OF SUN EXPECTED. SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE SLIDING
EAST ACROSS THE REGION TODAY WILL BRING LIGHTER WINDS IN THE 5 TO 10
MPH RANGE...WITH HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY TOPPING OUT IN THE UPPER
60S TO NEAR 70 DEGREES. DRY CONDITIONS REMAIN IN PLACE AS WE GET
INTO TUESDAY...BUT IT WILL A BREEZY DAY. SOUTHERLY WINDS ARE
EXPECTED TO INCREASE INTO THE 15 TO 25 MPH RANGE. TEMPERATURES LOOK
TO CLIMB INTO THE LOWER 70S AND COMBINED WITH THE STRONGER
WINDS...WILL RESULT IN AN INCREASED FIRE DANGER ACROSS THE AREA.
LOOKING AHEAD TO THE MIDDLE AND LATTER PORTIONS OF THE WEEK...A MORE
UNSETTLED UPPER LEVEL PATTERN IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP. THIS WILL
BRING CHANCES FOR RAIN AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS AND HIGH TEMPERATURES
GENERALLY IN THE 60S.
