LAST WEEK FEATURED A PROLONGED STRETCH OF FAIRLY CLOUDY SKIES.
HOWEVER...BENEFICIAL RAIN FELL ACROSS THE ENTIRE REGION. THE WEATHER
PATTERN HAS CHANGED FOR THIS WEEK...AND THIS WILL RESULT IN DRIER
WEATHER AND MUCH MORE SUNSHINE. HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN
TODAY...IN THE WAKE OF A DEEP LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER THE GREAT
LAKES. SO...WHILE TODAY WILL BE SUNNY...IT WILL BE BREEZY WITH
TEMPERATURES A LITTLE BELOW NORMAL. NORTHWEST WINDS WILL GUST
BETWEEN 25 AND 35 MPH. TUESDAY WILL BE THE WARMEST DAY OF THE
WEEK...AS TEMPERATURES CLIMB INTO THE 60S. A COOL FRONT WILL MOVE
THROUGH LATE TUESDAY...DROPPING TEMPERATURES A LITTLE BELOW NORMAL
FOR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY...BUT WITH PREDOMINANTLY DRY WEATHER.
FRIDAY...A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL DEVELOP OVER COLORADO AND HEAD
EAST ACROSS KANSAS. FRIDAY IS CURRENTLY EXPECTED TO BE A
BREEZY...WET...AND VERY COOL DAY...WITH PERIODS OF RAIN. A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE...PRIMARILY OVER NORTH CENTRAL
KANSAS.
