AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE MOVING ACROSS KANSAS WILL BRING THE AREA A
CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY. SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ARE CURRENTLY EXPECTED IN TWO ROUNDS WITH THE FIRST
SET OF STORMS IN THE MORNING WITH A LULL IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY.
THE SECOND ROUND OF STORMS LOOK TO KICK OFF DURING THE AFTERNOON TO
EARLY EVENING HOURS DEPENDING ON LOCATION. RAIN AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED
TO RANGE FROM A TENTH TO A HALF INCH. SOME AREAS MAY SEE HIGHER
AMOUNTS WITH THUNDERSTORMS AND SOME THUNDERSTORMS MAYBE STRONG TO
SEVERE IN NATURE AND COULD PRODUCE HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS. HIGH
TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED IN THE MID TO UPPER 60S AND FRIDAY MORNING
LOWS ARE FORECAST IN THE MID TO UPPER 40S.
