NORTHWESTERN GUNNISON AND SOUTHERN GARFIELD COUNTIES...

AT 742 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO
THUNDERSTORMS. THIS WILL CAUSE URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING IN THE
ADVISORY AREA.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
GRAND JUNCTION...GLENWOOD SPRINGS...FRUITA...RIFLE...DELTA...
GYPSUM...CARBONDALE...NEW CASTLE...BASALT...ORCHARD CITY...SILT...
PALISADE...CEDAREDGE...PAONIA...PARACHUTE...COLLBRAN...DE BEQUE...
MARBLE...SNOWMASS AND MESA.

THE FLOOD ADVISORY SPECIFIC FOR LEROUX CREEK IN SOUTHEAST DELTA
COUNTY HAS EXPIRED.  COUNTY OFFICIALS INDICATED THAT LEROUX CREEK
WILL RECEDE THIS EVENING.  WITH MORE SHOWERS MOVING INTO DELTA
COUNTY...SOME SMALL STREAMS ARE EXPECTED TO RUN HIGH THIS EVENING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...AS WELL AS FARM AND COUNTRY ROADS. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO TRAVEL ACROSS FLOODED ROADS. FIND ALTERNATE ROUTES.
