FOR EASTERN UTAH AND WESTERN COLORADO, HERE IS THE LATEST WEATHER
SYNOPSIS.

WEAK HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN TODAY AND WEDNESDAY, KEEPING
CONDITIONS WARM AND DRY. LINGERING MOISTURE WILL BE ADEQUATE FOR A
FEW LATE DAY SHOWERS OVER THE MOUNTAINS BOTH DAYS, THOUGH ALL
CONVECTIVE ACTIVITY WILL DIMINISH AROUND SUNSET.

THE NEXT BEST CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION WILL ARRIVE LATE THURSDAY, AS
A MILD AND MOIST SYSTEM FROM SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BEGINS TO PUSH INTO
THE FORECAST AREA. EXPECT WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
THROUGHOUT THE WEEKEND, AND A COOLING TREND WITH TEMPERATURES
DROPPING TO BELOW NORMAL THROUGH THE PERIOD.
