.DISCUSSION...
/ISSUED 437 AM CDT TUE APR 21 2015/
FAR DIFFERENT STORY WX WISE ONGOING ACROSS THE CNTRL TN VALLEY THIS
EARLY TUE MORNING COMPARED TO THIS SAME TIME PERIOD YESTERDAY. THE
COLD FRONT WHICH HELPED DRIVE MUCH OF THE STRONG CONVECTIVE ACTIVITY
EARLY MON...IS NOW WELL E OF THE LOCAL AREA APPROACHING THE ATLANTIC
COAST. CLOSER TO HOME...A SFC RIDGE OUT OF THE SRN PLAINS STATES IS
BEGINNING TO SETTLE NICELY INTO THE WRN/CNTRL GULF REGION. TEMP
TRENDS OVER MOST OF THE AREA HAVE LOWERED INTO MAINLY THE MID/UPPER
40S RANGE...WHICH IS NOT ONLY UNSEASONABLY COOL FOR THIS TIME OF THE
YR...BUT IT`S ALSO THE COOLEST IT`S BEEN SINCE THE MIDDLE OF APR.
DEW PT TRENDS UPSTREAM ACROSS THE MID SOUTH REGION HAVE ALSO LOWERED
INTO THE 30S...AND THIS SLIGHTLY DRIER AIR SHOULD BE WORKING ITS WAY
INTO THE REGION LATER TODAY AS WELL. ALL OF THIS WILL TRANSLATE INTO
A VERY NICE AND TRANQUIL SPRING DAY FOR THE TN VALLEY AREA...AS HIGH
PRESSURE MAKES ITS WAY EWD ACROSS THE GULF REGION. ANOTHER QUIET AND
UNSEASONABLY COOL NIGHT IS THEN XPCTED ACROSS THE AREA TONIGHT/EARLY
WED...BEFORE WARMER CONDITIONS/MOISTURE GRADUALLY RETURN TO THE AREA
WED...AS A WEAK SYSTEM DEVELOPS OVER THE SRN PLAINS.

AS THIS NEXT SYSTEM BEGINS TO DRIFT EWD WED NIGHT...THE LATEST MODEL
SUITES ARE STILL HINTING AT A WEAK SFC FRONT MOVING SWD THROUGH THE
REGION...WITH SOME SCT SHOWERS AND PERHAPS A FEW TSTMS DEVELOPING
ALONG/AHEAD OF THE FRONT EARLY THU. ANY ENERGY/MOISTURE ASSOCIATED
WITH THIS FIRST WX SYSTEM/FRONT LOOKS TO MOVE S OF THE AREA BY THU
AFTERNOON...WITH RAIN TAPERING OFF BY THE AFTERNOON PERIOD. ANY
BREAK IN THE RAINFALL UNFORTUNATELY LOOKS TO BE SHORT LIVED IF THE
LATTER HALF OF THE GLOBAL MODELS ARE CLOSE. 00Z ECMWF/GFS ARE STILL
HOLDING ON TO A MORE BROAD AREA OF ENERGY TRAVERSING ESEWD OUT OF
THE CNTRL PLAINS HEADING TOWARD THE FIRST HALF OF THE UPCOMING
WEEKEND. AS OF NOW...THIS LOOKS TO RESULT IN A PRETTY GOOD CHC OF
SHOWERS/TSTMS STARTING FRI AND CONTINUING INTO SAT...BEFORE THIS
BAND OF ENERGY MOVES E OF THE REGION INTO THE SRN ATLANTIC GOING
INTO THE NEW WEEK.
