FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR ALASKA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ANCHORAGE AK
716 AM AKDT TUE APR 21 2015

.DISCUSSION...FIRE DANGER WILL REMAIN LOW FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF
DAYS. ONSHORE FLOW AND COLDER AIR WILL KEEP THE REGION MOIST AND
COOL THROUGH TODAY. BY WEDNESDAY...EVEN THOUGH FLOW WILL TURN
MORE TO THE NORTHEAST AS A NORTH PACIFIC LOW MOVES NEAR KODIAK...
THIS LOW WILL ALSO BRING ANOTHER ROUND OF SHOWERS TO THE AREA.
FOR THE LATTER PORTION OF THE WEEK...TEMPERATURES WILL START TO
WARM EVER SO SLIGHTLY UNDER SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST FLOW AS AN OCCLUDED
FRONT FROM THE BERING BRINGS MORE PRECIPITATION TO THE AREA.
