CLOUDS INCREASED ACROSS THE REGION OVERNIGHT AHEAD OF AN
APPROACHING COLD FRONT. ALSO AHEAD OF THE FRONT...SCATTERED
SPRINKLES MOVED EAST ACROSS MASSACHUSETTS. TEMPERATURES
WERE MILD OVERNIGHT WITH READINGS IN THE 50S AND 60S.

FOR TODAY...THE COLD FRONT WILL WEAKEN AS IT CROSSES THE
REGION. MORE SCATTERED SHOWERS ARE POSSIBLE THROUGH EARLY
THIS AFTERNOON. HIGHS TODAY WILL TOP OUT IN THE 70S TO NEAR 80
DEGREES ACROSS THE INTERIOR. NEAR THE COASTS...SEA BREEZES WILL
DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON CAPPING HIGHS IN THE MID 50S AND 60S.

THE COLD FRONT WILL STALL NEAR THE SOUTH COAST THIS EVENING. IT WILL
BE MOSTLY CLEAR OVER MUCH OF REGION TONIGHT WITH MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES
ALONG THE SOUTH COAST. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE FROM THE LOW 40S TO
LOW 50S.

A WEAK LOW WILL MOVE ALONG THE STALLED FRONT WEDNESDAY
MORNING GENERATING SOME WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS ACROSS
CONNECTICUT...RHODE ISLAND...AND SOUTHEAST MASSACHUSETTS. BY
AFTERNOON CONDITIONS ARE FORECAST TO DRY OUT AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS
OVER NEW ENGLAND. DAY TIME HIGHS WILL RANGE IN THE 60S ALONG THE
SOUTH COAST WITH 70S ELSEWHERE.

LOOKING AHEAD...MAINLY DRY WEATHER WITH MILD TO WARM AFTERNOONS ARE
EXPECTED THURSDAY AND FRIDAY WITH HIGH PRESSURE IN CONTROL. SEA
BREEZES MAY DEVELOP AT TIMES RESULTING IN LOCALIZED COOLER CONDITIONS
ALONG THE COASTS. A SLOW MOVING FRONTAL SYSTEM WILL APPROACH
SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND THIS WEEKEND WITH A FEW SHOWERS POSSIBLE MAINLY
ON SUNDAY.
