FAIRLY CALM WEATHER CONDITIONS WERE NOTED ACROSS ARKANSAS OVERNIGHT
THROUGH EARLY THIS MORNING. ONLY A FEW SHOWERS CROPPED UP ACROSS
NORTHWEST PARTS OF THE AREA BEFORE DAYBREAK...BUT DID NOT LAST LONG
AND PROVIDED ONLY A FEW SPRINKLES TO ISOLATED AREAS.
OTHERWISE...MORNING LOW TEMPERATURES FELL TO THE MID 50S TO MID 60S.

WARM AND MOIST SOUTHERLY FLOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS ARKANSAS TODAY
THROUGH MUCH OF THE WORK WEEK AS SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS
ANCHORED TO THE EAST AND LOW PRESSURE DEVELOPS OVER THE SOUTHERN
PLAINS. SOME ISOLATED SHOWERS COULD CREEP INTO SOUTHERN ARKANSAS
LATE TONIGHT...AND INTO PORTIONS OF WESTERN AND NORTHWESTERN
ARKANSAS DURING THE DAY TUESDAY...BUT MUCH OF THE STATE WILL REMAIN
DRY THROUGH THE WEEK. HOWEVER A STORM SYSTEM WILL APPROACH FROM THE
WEST TUESDAY NIGHT AND INTO WEDNESDAY...WITH RAIN CHANCES INCREASING
ACROSS WESTERN ARKANSAS WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY.

WITH REGARD TO TEMPERATURES...ABOVE NORMAL READINGS WILL BE THE RULE
THROUGH THE WEEK. EXPECT TO SEE HIGHS RANGE FROM NEAR 80 IN THE WEST
AND NORTHWEST...TO THE MID 80S IN THE SOUTH AND EAST MOST
AFTERNOONS. LOWS WILL BE LARGELY IN THE LOWER TO MID 60S.
