AN UPPER LEVEL SHORTWAVE TROUGH WILL MOVE ACROSS THE LOWER
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT...RESULTING IN THE
DEVELOPMENT OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE MID SOUTH. HIGH
TEMPERATURES THIS AFTERNOON WILL BE IN THE MIDDLE 70S WITH LOWS
TONIGHT IN THE 60S. ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY NIGHT AS A STRONG AREA OF LOW PRESSURE
AND COLD FRONT MOVE THROUGH THE REGION. HIGHS SUNDAY WILL BE IN THE
MIDDLE TO UPPER 70S. RAIN WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH ACROSS THE MID
SOUTH ON MONDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE RETURNS TO THE AREA THROUGH
WEDNESDAY. TEMPERATURES FOR THE REMAINDER OF NEXT WEEK WILL BE IN
THE UPPER 60S TO LOWER 70S AND OVERNIGHT LOWS IN THE UPPER 40S TO
LOWER 50S. SHOWER AND THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL RETURN ON THURSDAY
AS ANOTHER STORM SYSTEM APPROACHES FROM THE WEST.
