HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS TO OUR WEST THEN SOUTH THROUGH TONIGHT...WITH
DRY CONDITIONS AND MINIMAL CLOUD COVER EXPECTED UNTIL LATE
TONIGHT...WHEN SOME CLOUDS SHOULD BUILD IN AHEAD OF A WARM FRONT.
HIGHS TODAY WILL RUN AROUND 5 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL...AND LOWS
TONIGHT AROUND 5 TO 10 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL.

A WARM FRONT WILL PASS TO THE NORTH THURSDAY MORNING...BRINGING SOME
CLOUDS WITH IT. A COLD FRONT THEN APPROACHES FROM THE NORTHWEST LATE
THURSDAY...THEN STALLS NEAR THE AREA ON FRIDAY. THE RESULT WILL BE
INCREASING CHANCES FOR SHOWERS FROM LATE THURSDAY NIGHT INTO
FRIDAY...AS WELL AS MAYBE SOME ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS
AS WELL.

THERE WILL BE A LARGE RANGE IN TEMPERATURES ON THURSDAY...WITH HIGHS
RANGING FROM THE MID TO UPPER 40S OVER THE TWIN FORKS OF LONG ISLAND
AND FAR SOUTHEASTERN CONNECTICUT...TO THE LOWER TO MAYBE MID 60S
OVER NORTHEAST NEW JERSEY AND WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE LOWER HUDSON
VALLEY. LOWS THURSDAY NIGHT AND HIGHS ON FRIDAY SHOULD BE AROUND 5
DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.
