EXTREME SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA AND NORTHWEST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE BEING OBSERVED THIS AFTERNOON
AT MANY LOCATIONS ACROSS THE TRI-STATE REGION. CONDITIONS WILL
IMPROVE AS TEMPERATURES COOL AND WINDS WEAKEN THIS EVENING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...

STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE LATE WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING GENERALLY ALONG AND WEST OF A LINE FROM
TRENTON NEBRASKA SOUTH THROUGH COLBY AND GOVE KANSAS. LARGE HAIL
AND DAMAGING WINDS WILL BE THE PRIMARY THREATS. FOR AREAS CLOSER
TO THE COLORADO KANSAS BORDER SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 70 THE THREAT
FOR DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...BLOWING DUST CREATING NEAR ZERO
VISIBILITY...AND POSSIBLY A TORNADO IS HIGHER.
