...ON THIS DATE IN WEATHER HISTORY...

IN 1906, A VIOLENT F3 TORNADO FORMED NEAR CEDAR BLUFFS KANSAS IN
DECATUR COUNTY, PASSED NORTH OF MARION, BEFORE DISSIPATING 8
MILES NORTHWEST OF DANBURY NEBRASKA. FOUR ENTIRE FARMS WERE
DESTROYED IN NEBRASKA. THE FIRST DAMAGE OCCURRED AS A SCHOOL WAS
HIT 8 MILES WEST OF DANBURY, ONE MILE SOUTH OF THE KANSAS
LINE. A BABY WAS KILLED  ON A NEBRASKA FARM.
