SHOWERS AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WERE OBSERVED ACROSS MUCH OF
THE REGION. RAINFALL AMOUNTS RANGED FROM 25 HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH
NEAR BURLINGTON TO 75 HUNDREDTHS IN GOODLAND. TEMPERATURES ARE
A BIT COOLER IN WESTERN PORTIONS OF KIT CARSON COUNTY...HOVERING
IN THE LOW TO MID 40S WITH SLIGHTLY WARMER TEMPERATURES IN THE
50S IN GOODLAND AND COLBY. TEMPERATURES ARE MUCH WARMER IN AREAS
NEAR NORTON AND HILL CITY...APPROACHING 70 DEGREES.

OUTLOOK... SHOWERS AND EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME
SCATTERED THIS AFTERNOON BEFORE INCREASING IN COVERAGE ONCE MORE
DURING THE EVENING HOURS. WE COULD SEE ANOTHER ROUND OF STRONG TO
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT. TEMPERATURES WILL
RANGE FROM THE UPPER 30S IN WESTERN KIT CARSON COUNTY TO THE LOW
50S IN NORTON AND GRAHAM COUNTIES. RAIN CHANCES WILL CONTINUE INTO
FRIDAY.
