SOUTHWEST WINDS ON THE BACKSIDE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL BRING A WARM AIR
MASS INTO THE REGION TODAY. SKIES WILL BE PARTLY CLOUDY AS
TEMPERATURES REACH WELL ABOVE NORMAL.

A COLD FRONT IS FORECAST TO MOVE SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE REGION
LATE SUNDAY...THEN STALL ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS EARLY NEXT
WEEK. THE PASSAGE OF THE COLD FRONT WILL BRING SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS TO THE ENTIRE REGION SUNDAY AFTERNOON INTO SUNDAY
NIGHT.

DRIER WEATHER WILL THEN MOVE IN FOR MONDAY BEFORE THE FRONT BEGINS
TO MOVE BACK NORTH INTO THE AREA BY MID-WEEK...BRINGING MORE
CHANCES FOR RAIN.
