MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES AND GUSTY SOUTHWEST WINDS PREVAILED ACROSS THE
REGION THIS AFTERNOON AS HIGH PRESSURE SETTLED OVER THE OHIO
VALLEY. AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES WERE QUITE BALMY WITH HIGHS
GENERALLY IN THE MIDDLE TO UPPER 70S...WITH COOLER TEMPERATURES
AROUND 70 DEGREES NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN.

A COLD FRONT IS FORECAST TO MOVE SOUTHEAST THROUGH THE REGION
LATE SUNDAY...THEN STALL ACROSS NORTHERN ILLINOIS EARLY NEXT
WEEK. THE PASSAGE OF THE COLD FRONT WILL BRING SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS TO THE ENTIRE REGION SUNDAY AFTERNOON INTO SUNDAY
NIGHT.

DRIER WEATHER WILL THEN MOVE IN FOR MONDAY BEFORE THE FRONT
BEGINS TO MOVE BACK NORTH INTO THE AREA BY MID-WEEK...BRINGING
MORE CHANCES FOR RAIN.
