HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED OVER OHIO BROUGHT MOSTLY SUNNY AND VERY
MILD CONDITIONS TO WISCONSIN ON FRIDAY. ONLY SOME THIN HIGH CLOUDS
WERE OBSERVED ACROSS THE STATE.

HIGH TEMPERATURES WERE MAINLY IN THE 70S...TOPPING OUT AT 81
DEGREES AT LA CROSSE...BOSCOBEL...AND JANESVILLE. TEMPERATURES
TURNED COOLER FRIDAY AFTERNOON IN AREAS NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN...AS A
LAKE BREEZE DEVELOPED AND MOVED WESTWARD. THE COOL SPOT WAS
STURGEON BAY IN DOOR COUNTY...WITH A HIGH OF 61 DEGREES.

.OVERNIGHT...

PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES WERE OBSERVED ACROSS SOUTHERN WISCONSIN DURING
THE OVERNIGHT HOURS...WITH MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES TO THE NORTH. A COLD
FRONT MOVED SOUTHWARD INTO NORTHERN WISCONSIN AFTER
MIDNIGHT...TURNING WINDS TO THE NORTH BEHIND IT. TEMPERATURES SO
FAR RANGED FROM THE MID 40S ACROSS NORTHERN WISCONSIN...TO THE
LOWER 60S ACROSS FAR SOUTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.FORECAST...

A COLD FRONT WILL SLIDE SOUTH ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN
WISCONSIN THIS MORNING...INTO NORTHERN ILLINOIS THIS AFTERNOON.
GUSTY NORTH TO NORTHEAST WINDS WILL SHIFT EAST AFTER THE FRONT
MOVES THROUGH...BRINGING COOLER TEMPERATURES NEAR LAKE MICHIGAN.
MILD TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS INLAND AREAS. CRITICAL FIRE
WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST AND
CENTRAL WISCONSIN THIS AFTERNOON.

LOW PRESSURE WILL SLOWLY MOVE NORTH NORTHEAST FROM THE MIDDLE
MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY TO NORTHWEST INDIANA SUNDAY...THEN INTO
LOWER MICHIGAN SUNDAY NIGHT. THE LOW WILL BRING A ROUND OF RAIN
SHOWERS TO THE REGION...SPREADING WEST TO EAST LATER TONIGHT INTO
SUNDAY. THE SHOWERS WILL LINGER INTO SUNDAY NIGHT.

GUSTY WEST WINDS WILL BRING COLDER TEMPERATURES INTO THE REGION
SUNDAY NIGHT INTO MONDAY NIGHT...LINGERING THROUGH MOST OF NEXT
WEEK. A SLOW MOVING TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL KEEP CHANCES FOR
SHOWERS INTO TUESDAY NIGHT. SOME SNOW SHOWERS MAY MIX IN MONDAY
NIGHT AND TUESDAY NIGHT IN NORTHERN AND CENTRAL WISCONSIN.
