.YESTERDAY...

A STRONG UPPER LEVEL WAVE BROUGHT SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS MUCH OF WESTERN AND SOUTHERN WISCONSIN AND
CLOUDS TO NORTHERN WISCONSIN. AS THE WAVE EXITED THE REGION...THE
CLOUDS CLEARED OUT LEAVING MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES ACROSS MUCH OF THE
STATE. HIGHS ONLY REACHED INTO THE MID 40S IN NORTHERN WISCONSIN
WHERE THERE WAS STILL SNOW ON THE GROUND FROM THURSDAY. HIGHS IN
SOUTHERN AND WESTERN WISCONSIN MADE IT INTO THE MID 50S.

.OVERNIGHT...

THERE WERE SOME CLOUDS AND A FEW SHOWERS ACROSS THE NORTHEAST
HALF OF WISCONSIN DURING THE EVENING AND EARLY NIGHT HOURS. SKIES
THEN TURNED MOSTLY CLEAR ACROSS THE STATE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE
NIGHT. LOW TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOW AND MID 20S NORTH-
CENTRAL...TO THE LOW AND MID 30S SOUTH.

.FORECAST...

QUIET WEATHER IS EXPECTED THROUGH TONIGHT AS HIGH PRESSURE SLIDES
BY TO THE SOUTH.

A CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND A FEW STORMS WILL RETURN LATER
SUNDAY...THE BEST CHANCE IN THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT AS A COLD
FRONT MOVES THROUGH.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL BE IN PLACE FOR MUCH OF THE FIRST PART OF NEXT
WEEK...BRINGING PLEASANT WEATHER TO THE STATE.

TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO BE SEVERAL DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL FOR
THIS WEEKEND INTO AT LEAST THE FIRST HALF OF NEXT WEEK.
