WISCONSIN WEATHER SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MILWAUKEE/SULLIVAN WI
355 AM CDT THU APR 23 2015

.YESTERDAY...

THE LOW PRESSURE CENTER THAT HAS BEEN OVER THE GREAT LAKES FOR
THE LAST FEW DAYS REMAINED OVER THE REGION. THE LOW ONCE AGAIN
BROUGHT COOL TEMPERATURES AND CLOUDY SKIES ACROSS THE STATE...AND
SNOW SHOWERS ACROSS MOST OF EASTERN WISCONSIN.

HIGH TEMPERATURES DID NOT MAKE IT ABOVE FREEZING IN PARTS OF
NORTHERN WISCONSIN...AND ONLY MADE IT TO THE LOWER 40S IN
SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN.

HOWEVER...IN THE LATE AFTERNOON THE CLOUDS IN WESTERN WISCONSIN
BEGAN TO DIMINISH...AS THE LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM FINALLY BEGAN TO
PULL AWAY FROM THE REGION. IN WESTERN WISCONSIN...WHERE THE
CLOUDS CLEARED BEFORE SUNSET...HIGHS MADE IT INTO THE UPPER 40S.

.OVERNIGHT...

AN AREA OF VERY LIGHT RAIN AND VERY LIGHT SNOW SLID SOUTHEAST
ACROSS NORTHEAST AND EAST CENTRAL WISCONSIN INTO THE EARLY MORNING
HOURS...BEFORE DIMINISHING. THIS AREA SAW MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES. THE
REST OF THE REGION SAW SKIES BECOME MOSTLY CLEAR. TEMPERATURES SO
FAR RANGED FROM THE MID 20S ACROSS NORTHERN WISCONSIN...TO THE
LOWER 30S ACROSS SOUTHERN WISCONSIN.

.FORECAST...

HIGH PRESSURE MOVING EAST ACROSS THE REGION TODAY INTO TONIGHT
WILL BRING QUIET WEATHER TO THE REGION. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN
BELOW SEASONAL NORMALS.

LOW PRESSURE WILL THEN MOVE FROM THE CENTRAL HIGH PLAINS TO
SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY. A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE
WILL SLIDE JUST TO THE SOUTH OF THE AREA FRIDAY NIGHT INTO
SATURDAY.

THIS WILL BRING CHANCES FOR LIGHT RAIN AND LIGHT SNOW ACROSS
NORTHERN WISCONSIN...WITH MAINLY LIGHT RAIN ACROSS SOUTHERN
WISCONSIN AND NORTHERN ILLINOIS. BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL
CONTINUE.

QUIET WEATHER WITH MORE SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES SHOULD OCCUR FOR
SUNDAY INTO MONDAY.
