WISCONSIN WEATHER SUMMARY

.YESTERDAY...WISCONSIN WAS IN BETWEEN HIGH PRESSURE CENTERED OVER
THE NORTHEAST U.S. AND LOW PRESSURE CENTERED OVER THE PLAINS STATES.
 THIS COMBINATION BROUGHT A MOSTLY SUNNY AND MILD DAY TO WISCONSIN
ON SATURDAY. THERE WERE SOME HIGH CLOUDS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PLAINS
LOW THAT BLEW INTO WISCONSIN BUT SKIES...OVERALL...WERE MOSTLY SUNNY.

HIGH TEMPERATURES WERE ONCE AGAIN ABOVE THE NORMALS FOR THIS TIME OF
YEAR...EXCEPT NEAR LAKES MICHIGAN AND SUPERIOR WHERE TEMPERATURES
WERE COOLER DUE TO THE WATERS STILL BEING RELATIVELY COLD. HIGH
TEMPERATURES AWAY FROM THE GREAT LAKES WERE IN THE 60S AND 70S
WHEREAS AREAS CLOSE TO THE GREAT LAKES HAD READINGS IN THE 50S.  THE
RANGE OF HIGH TEMPERATURES ON SATURDAY WAS 51 AT SUPERIOR TO 76 AT
BOSCOBEL.  THE NORMAL HIGH TEMPERATURES FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR ARE IN
THE 50S.

WINDS WERE GENERALLY FROM THE EAST 10 TO 20 MILES AN HOUR WITH SOME
GUSTS UP TO 30 MILES AN HOUR NEAR LAKESHORE AREAS.

.OVERNIGHT... SATURDAY EVENING SKIES WERE MOSTLY CLEAR. THERE WAS AN
INCREASE IN CLOUD COVER INTO WESTERN WISCONSIN WHERE A FEW LIGHT
RAIN SHOWERS DEVELOPED. TEMPERATURES DROPPED INTO THE 40S TO LOWER
50S.

.FORECAST...LOW PRESSURE WILL SLOWLY MOVE NORTH NORTHEAST FROM THE
MIDDLE MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY TO SOUTHERN ILLINOIS AROUND MIDDAY
...THEN INTO LOWER MICHIGAN BY MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. THE LOW WILL BRING
A ROUND OF RAIN SHOWERS TO THE REGION. THE SHOWERS WILL LINGER INTO
MONDAY.

GUSTY WEST WINDS BEHIND A TRAILING COLD FRONT WILL BRING COLDER
TEMPERATURES INTO THE REGION MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT...LINGERING
THROUGH MOST OF THIS WEEK. A SLOW MOVING TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL
KEEP CHANCES FOR SHOWERS INTO TUESDAY EVENING. SOME SNOW SHOWERS MAY
MIX IN MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY NIGHT IN NORTHERN AND CENTRAL
WISCONSIN.
