THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST IOWA
AND SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO PREVAIL OVER
THE OUTLOOK AREA THROUGH TONIGHT. THERE IS A CHANCE THAT SOME STORMS
MAY APPROACH OR BECOME SEVERE LATE THIS AFTERNOON OR EARLY EVENING MAINLY
SOUTH OF THE I-80 CORRIDOR WITH HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS BEING THE
PRIMARY THREATS.

IN ADDITION...IT IS QUITE PROBABLE SEVERAL LOCATIONS OVER EXTREME
SOUTHEAST NEBRASKA AND EXTREME SOUTHWEST IOWA WILL RECEIVE HEFTY
RAINFALL AMOUNTS DURING THE EVENING HOURS.

INTENSITY AND AREAL COVERAGE WILL GRADUALLY DECREASE THEN AFTER
MIDNIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

ADDITIONAL CHANCES OF THUNDERSTORMS ARE IN THE FORECAST THROUGH
THE REMAINDER OF THE WEEK. SOME STORMS COULD REACH SEVERE LIMITS
WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

RIPPLES OF ENERGY MOVING OUT ACROSS THE PLAINS FROM THE SOUTHWEST
COULD TRIGGER STORMS IN THE PERIOD FROM TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.
