THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF THE MISSOURI
OZARKS AND EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...

  ELEVATED LIGHTNING RISK.
  ELEVATED FOG RISK.

DISCUSSION...

  PATCHY FOG WITH VISIBILITIES BELOW A HALF MILE WILL AFFECT
  MUCH OF THE MISSOURI OZARKS OVERNIGHT.

  WIDELY SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE
  EASTERN MISSOURI OZARKS OVERNIGHT. ADDITIONALLY...A LARGE AREA
  OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL SLOWLY PUSH INTO WESTERN
  MISSOURI LATE TONIGHT WHILE WEAKENING. CLOUD TO GROUND
  LIGHTNING AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE THE MAIN HAZARDS
  WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

  MORE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED SUNDAY INTO SUNDAY EVENING AS A
  SLOW MOVING STORM SYSTEM MOVES ACROSS THE REGION. THERE IS A
  LIMITED TO ELEVATED RISK FOR STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS IF ENOUGH
  INSTABILITY CAN DEVELOP. THE GREATEST RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER
  SUNDAY WILL BE ACROSS FAR SOUTHERN MISSOURI GENERALLY SOUTH OF
  INTERSTATE 44. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND A LIMITED RISK FOR
  FLOODING WILL CONTINUE.

  A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
  OF NEXT WEEK.
